The ladies are back from their Quilt Connect experience and full of excitement to get quilting again. Marilyn showed us some fabric she bought which she thought might match some she had at home and it actually does. Cathy bought a Judy Niemeyer pattern in a fit of confident enthusiasm. And Cathy is bringing her iPad next week so we can get a better view of all the impressive quilts than on Del's phone.
Elaine is visiting the Blacks Beach Vanpark again and came along today with Liz. And she managed to win the badge draw for her efforts.
The Blogperson is leaving for holidays next week. Maybe if Di is not too busy she may be able to add some posts. Thanks Di.

Cheryl won some of these Delectable Mountain blocks in last year's July BomB. Unfortunately the pattern looked a little difficult and not a lot of blocks went into the draw. So she had to dig out her purple fabrics and make some more. She is quite happy with how it has turned out. |

Liz has completed another quilt to present to the Women's Centre. This one is a panel and is hand-quilted with a soft fleece backing. |

Kay is in the process of binding this quilt for a friend's great grandson. She has made this cute panel come alive by machine blanket stitching around all the motifs and then freemachine quilting around them all. And just look at that loopy border! |

Di's grandson is almost one so he gets a new quilt using some construction themed fabric. It has a soft fleece backing and Di has quilted it with cement trucks and helicopters. Ethan is going to love it. |

Delma has made this pretty English Paper-pieced quilt and it is going to be her very own. It was a Sue Daley kit with all the fabrics and papers and patterns but the border is Delma's own as she wasn't fussed on the lollipop flowers in the pattern. Aren't the Suffolk Puffs for the flower centres just adorable? |

These are the BomB blocks that came in today for our April BomB called Disappearing Pinwheels. It is going to be a great looking quilt when the other 8 blocks come in. Helen has offered to put this one together so thanks in advance, Helen. |
