What a lovely day we had at Bucasia on Wednesday. The weather was marvellous, hopefully all those hot and wet days are gone for a while and we can enjoy some Autumn weather.
We had quite a number of completed BOM's and Di Hope was the lucky winner this month.
Di also brought along a quilt she has made with Charm Squares using the same technique.
Di has also made some shoe bags for our Quilt Expo sales table in July. The shoe bags look like little britches and one shoe goes in each side of 'pant leg'.
Erica has finished her fish quilt. The quilt block designs were released on a monthly basis and completed as they became available.
This is another quilt made by Erica using a 'layer cake pack'.
Faye Cole has completed a raggy quilt which has been pieced with squares which were cut using a Die cutting machine. Pretty trendy Faye!
Kay has made this tablecloth for a friend who is returning to Finland. I have enlarged the photo so that the embroidery around the outside of the cloth can be seen. Kay has embroidered the names of the ladies in her group around the edge of the cloth. A very special keepsake for her friend to take back with her.
Kia has been busy collecting denim from friends and family and has put together these table runners and cushion. A great way to recycle Kia.
Robyn has made this quilt for her daughter.
Beth has made this beautiful quilt using a pattern from the 'Linus Quilt Book' in our library.
This is another beautiful quilt made by Beth for her daughter. It is called 'Tree of Life'.
