28 ladies met in the Northern Beaches Community Hall this morning and enjoyed a few hours of craft and chatting. The weather at the moment is perfect for hand work.
A reminder that on Wednesday morning, 17 July, we will be hosting our Friendship Morning. There will be Show and Tell, a lovely morning tea, raffles, lucky door prize and our Teddy Bear Quilt will be drawn (if you don't have a ticket - no worries, as there will be tickets on sale on the morning). We are incorporating our Biggest Morning Tea - Cancer Council fundraiser - and all monies raised will be used locally.

Joan made this quilt based on a design she saw on Pinterest. The design was altered to suit the fabric, featuring a tiny daisy print, that Joan had purchased from a stash belonging to a friend who had passed away.

Jean made the above table runner "Mystic Mountains" in an inhouse workshop conducted by Joan. Jean used a fat 1/4 that she had received in our fat 1/4 swap at Christmas lunch and than chose another 3 co-ordinating fat 1/4's to complete the project. This will be a gift for Jean's sister whose favourite colour is red. |

Robyn made this Triple Irish Chain quilt from batik scraps. Robyn had to purchase the red fabric which co-ordinates beautifully with her scraps. The quilt is made using 2 1/2" squares. The quilt was made specifically to use up scraps and will go to the first family member who shows a liking for it. |
